Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms before using Bolo. By creating an account or paying for the trial, you accept everything below.

Last updated: 17 May 2026

Bolo(“Bolo”, “we”, “us”) is an AI-tutor-led English-speaking course for children, operated as a sole proprietorship by Siddhant Jain from Business Bay, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. These Terms & Conditions form a binding agreement between you (the parent / guardian, referred to as “you”) and Bolo.

1. Who can use Bolo

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and make payments.
  • Bolo is intended for children aged 6 to 12 years. You confirm you are the parent or legal guardian of the child you enroll, and you give consent to Bolo to provide the service to the child.
  • You agree to provide accurate information about yourself (name, mobile number, relationship to the child) and the child (first name, age, gender) during sign-up.

2. The service

Bolo provides AI-tutor-led English-speaking practice sessions delivered through our website and any apps we publish. The service includes:

  • Voice-based AI tutor sessions.
  • A curriculum of speaking topics organized by difficulty.
  • Progress tracking for the enrolled child.
  • Support over email, WhatsApp, and phone.

We may update, improve, or change parts of the service from time to time. We do not guarantee any specific outcome (such as a fluency level) — language learning depends on consistent practice by the child.

3. Pricing & payment

Bolo currently offers two products:

  • 15-Day Trial — AED 49 (one-time): Unlocks the first 3 modules of the curriculum for 15 days from the date of purchase, so the parent can see how the child responds before committing to the full course.
  • Full Course — AED 999 (one-time): Unlocks the complete AI-tutor-led English-speaking curriculum for the enrolled child. This is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. There is no auto-renewal and no recurring charge — your card will not be billed again unless you start a new purchase yourself.

All prices are in UAE Dirhams (AED) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless explicitly stated otherwise. Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider; by paying, you also accept their terms.

4. Refunds & cancellation

All payments to Bolo are final and non-refundable. We keep the trial price low (AED 49 for 15 days) precisely so you can evaluate the service yourself before deciding whether to buy the full course. For complete details and the limited exceptions we may consider, see our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

5. Your account

  • Accounts are identified by your mobile number. You are responsible for the security of the device and SIM that receives login OTPs, and for any activity that takes place under your account.
  • You agree to notify us immediately at founders@bolo.org.in if you suspect unauthorised access or if you lose access to the mobile number on the account.
  • One account is intended for one child. Sharing access across multiple families is not permitted.

6. Acceptable use

You agree that you and your child will not:

  • Use Bolo for any unlawful purpose or in a way that harms minors.
  • Attempt to copy, scrape, reverse-engineer, or redistribute any part of the service or its content.
  • Use offensive, abusive, or inappropriate language during AI tutor sessions.
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to our servers or other users’ accounts.
  • Resell or share access credentials with third parties.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules. In serious cases we may report misuse to the relevant authorities.

7. Content & intellectual property

  • All curriculum, lesson scripts, AI prompts, branding, logos, and software are owned by Siddhant Jain and are protected by copyright and trademark law.
  • You receive a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access Bolo for personal, non-commercial use by you and your enrolled child.
  • Your child’s progress data and voice recordings belong to you (the parent). You can request a copy or deletion at any time — see the Privacy Policy.

8. Third-party services

Bolo relies on third-party services including our payment provider (payments) and our voice infrastructure providers (voice). Their outages or terms may affect your use of Bolo. We are not responsible for failures caused by third-party services outside our control.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bolo and Siddhant Jain shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Bolo is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or specific learning outcomes.

10. Termination

  • You may stop using Bolo at any time and request account deletion by emailing founders@bolo.org.in.
  • We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, attempt to defraud us, or misuse the service.
  • Sections that by their nature should survive (intellectual property, liability, governing law) will continue to apply after termination.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change. Significant changes will be notified to account holders by email. Continued use of Bolo after a change means you accept the new terms.

12. Governing law & jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of United Arab Emirates. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Dubai, Dubai.
